PANCHAKARMA:(The detoxification process).

It is a comprehensive system of knowledge and practice to purify the body. As more and more people are falling prey to the adverse effects of stress, there are more and more complaints of Disease like Poor digestion, Lack of sleep, Allergies, Chronic fatigue, Cancer, Heart diseases, Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Spondylitis, Psoriasis, Eczema etc.
All these disease are complex disorders that are a result of toxins that accumulate in the body over a time. The most deeply seated toxins that cause diseases are heavy and sticky, and damaging to the tissue layers.
Panchakarma permanently eliminates these toxins from the body, allowing permanent healing of tissue channels, digestive, mental, and spiritual functions.


 Panchakarma Includes:-


In Ayurveda, the treatment is broadly divided in to two categories
Sodhana and Shamana. Curing the diseases by clearing out the in particles is called Shodhana Chikitsa, which is the principal of Panchakarma.
It involves the clearing of vitiated doshas (vatta, pitta and kapha) which cause the diseases and there by the restoration of equilibrium of Dosha, Dhatu and Malas .

Panchakarma Includes the following five purification therapies :-

According To Charak:

1. Vamana
2. Virechana
3. Niruh Vasti
4. Anuvasana Vasti
5. Nasya

Aim and Objectives of Panchakarma:
   Panchakarma aims to remove the ailments of a diseased person, maintain positive health in a healthy individual and obtain extra ordinary Qualities like rasayana (rejuvenation therapy) and Vajikarna.

Panchakarma in a Diseased Person:
   Panchakarma is equivalent to the medicinal treatment given to the patient. Some diseases respond to panchakarma treatment better than the medicines given to them.

Panchakarma in a Healthy Person:
   Diseases can not invade the lives of people who follow the daily and seasonal regime (dincharya and ritucharya). Therefore, most of the people are adopting these therapeutic techniques in their daily routine.
